They come up on e-bay occationally. Picked mine up for $90 a few years ago. Would look bad ass on your wagon.

i'm in the process of making on for the 60. as well as a small bumper filler for the front and back.

for the bumper pieces, i found a couple tube grilles from 70's c10s for the brackets and mounts.

i got the stainless tubing from a metal place here in town

the only problem i have is making the v in the middle, i bought a conduit bender for the first mock up one.

i'm stoked to see what you build man.

I have a few pix from my "idea file" Some might be too new. I've been trying to get an idea of what could be done to my Caddy.

The tube grille on Statutory Grape is pretty thick. Its looks really good in this pic. Typically, I like a smaller tube diameter than this, especially on mid 60's cars, but it looks really good on this Impala.

The one on this car is gorgeous. This Vette just does it for me in every single way. Wow.

I like both of those. The Vette is subtle and that's why I like it. There isn't one mod that pops out. The whole package works. That's what i want for my Caddy.

I dont know what it is but every car I`ve seen use Cibie headlights they dont seem like they fit right, just stuck in and protruding like a mole on Lemmy`s face. I do like when the grill runs all the way across.

It's funny. I totally agree with you. At the same time most period customs looked a little wonky and I find a certain charm in that. I really need to post some Pics and contribute to this post I've just been so busy. My goal is to slightly clean it up but still have some period wonkiness if that makes sense?
