Standing, public orgasms tend to make a woman look kind of freaked out.
I think we can do better than that...

It probably had more to do with my hat than what car I was driving.

Totally agree that greg's is a bitchin car. The world needs more nice pics of the whole ride, especially if its front end is now closer from the mother earth...

My son and I started the Holiday off right.

Despite the heat, Elizabeth threw down on the grill. Beef, greek pork kabobs, rilled veggies, butter/garlic corn on the cob, orzo salad and cookies. Total of 6 pounds of meat was completely consumed by 5 adults.

Post feast alley hanging with Rasputin, some close family and a couple new friends.

Fireworks in the neighborhood were definitely down from last year. I blame the government.

    Goodnight.

Made the trek out to Lombard for the Brauer House cruise in. It was my first time attending and was looking forward to seeing what several folks say is a great time. It was a nice drive out, taking local roads and meeting up with Rasputin along the way. Happily surprised to see BigBadBrian and the BigBadBuick.

I'm a sucker for round things.

    Wheel swap, airshocks and done.

Rolled the dice with the 40 year old biasplys and took the expressway home. Got some big thumbs up rolling back into the city. Glorious night for long cruise... city lights, lightening over the lake car running nice and cool.

Looking forward to hitting the Lombard cruise again, hopefully with a bigger turn out.

Even with the heat and humidity, its been a good July 4th and 5th.

Didn't take any pics on the fourth but here are some from the cruise:

Waiting at Home Depot for ooBrian

Smallest turnout I've seen at this cruise in. Must be a combination of the heat, the holiday, and a threat of thunderstorms.

Either way, it was really good to hang with both Brians and having a different combination of three LB member/prospect cars in one place.

So here goes the Chicago area version...

Last Saturday I rolled out to the boonies to hit up a little show near Greg's house. Since I didn't know I'd be starting this thread at the time, I didn't take nearly enough photos. But here we go anyways...

I was stoked to see Greg's '66 since he swapped springs and got the front end to lay.
