not just you and its a 60wagon not a 61. I have the deep dish on mine, think that is the difference. As soon as i figure this photobucket thing eusa_wall.gif out i'll post pics.unless cadillac nick has some he can post for me
I'm sorry, I don't care how fucking groovy and melodic metal music might get, you do not EVER dance to metal. PERIOD. You might bang your head, swing and sway with the groove, jump up and down and pit with the other long-hair's, but you don't FUCKING DANCE TO IT.

Anyone care to guess as to the wheel/tire size of this combo?

They look like 14x7 reversed. The same size I want. But just a guess.

14x7 reverse up front. Possibly 14x6 revers in the rear. Can't really see the spokes good enough to tell for sure. But definitely 14x6 reverse in the front. The tires look like 195/75 or maybe 205/70. It's hard to tell.

Haha oops! Sorry. 14x7 reverse in the front. No doubt. I have a pair and that's exactly what they look like.

    14x7. Sorry for the confusion.

Thanks! As much as I love supremes, I'm not certain that they work on an olds. There's just something that doesn't seem to match up. They might work better on my car than this one since I'm dumped, but I just don't know... Prolly going to swap to 14" reverse wires or 15" chrome reverse... Decisions decisions... I have to disagree, I think they work just fine! Here´s how 15x7 standards looked on my Olds:

    1960 Oldsmobile Super 88
    1964 Oldsmobile 442 conv.
    1964 Ford Galaxie 500

I'm thinking of running Supremes on my 66 F100...has anyone seen a reversed (deep dish) 15 by 10 on a piecrust drag slick?...

Re: Everything you ever wanted to know about Supremes...

I sold my reversed 15x10 Supremes to a guy on the **** a couple months ago. I got them from a hook up. I picked them up for cheap because a special order fell through. They don't reverse that size normally so if you find a place that will, you gotta special order them and wait forever. I ended up going with 15x10 standards, which are pretty damn deep as it is. Anyways, the guy who bought my reversed ones put them on his 32 5w coup. He wrapped them in old Hoosier slicks. They look cool. I looked into getting Hurst piecrust cheaters on those. The only size piecrust cheater that you can run on those is the 30x10x15, which are huge but really cool. I didn't have enough clearance for them. If I were you, I'd think about running a 7 or 8 reversed instead. There are more drag slicks available that will fit those sizes. 10 is cool, but it's a little unnecessary if you aren't even running them open wheeled. You'll get the same effect as a 28x7.5x15 on a reversed 15x7 and you'll save alot of money. Not to mention the readily available supremes in 15x7. My $0.02.

Thanks man. My 66 is gonna have a drag/show/shop/ early lowrider/custom inspiration..That said, I know its sounds like a mishmosh, but I also am gonna build a stroker FE ford for it...so I am gonna need the tire to hook, plus I love the look of a WIDE piecrust buried under those trucks..haha I'll look into the standard offset , thanks for the tip, and I have no problem waiting as I haven't even started on it yet..haha Thanks again man

They totally work on your car! The color contrast and ride height complement them. Not sure why, but I don't think they work on that white olds I posted. The sure as shit work on that wagon up above though!!!

I think they look a little wonky on the white Olds because they are reversed with small tires and the car doesn't lay. Swede's red Olds runs 15" standards with a tire profile thats closer to stock so things balance out a little better.

In 1961 GM made their cars smaller. They were narrower and a bit shorter. That may be why 14's look aesthetically better on them than on their larger 1960 and older brethren.

glad to see you agree about the 14s!

now as far as 13s go... thats in the eye of the beholder.. sometimes, sometimes not.. but i think we can all agree they do not fit in with the boulevardo theme! those werent around the time period we build towards

    I love supremes, but sometimes they can look like nastyness if the car aint slammed . . . . . . . . . . know what i mean

On some cars that are stock they DO look like muscle car wheels.

A galaxie can be a good candidate for that . . . . . . but on the ground they look amazing

13" Supremes weren't out in the early 70's? I would think so.
