    badass

I'm glad to hear that you're keeping it all natural finish.
IMO, seeing an aircraft setup all tarted up loses too much of the connection to where the stuff came from.

No... no lottery im just selling off most of the accessories and doing a couple of other small things.

Here is a pic of the trunk Primed just before it wen to his shop

    (pic missing)

the last look at my stock trunk....

In the trunk you can see the old 9 inch wheel, I just got an NOS chrome adapter from Superior for it. I tried to make the pic smaller but photo bucket didnt like it one bit ill try and fix it later.

Here are the NOS tanks that are going on

More pics to come I dont want to put the set up on display until its done.

It seems like just my luck just when all the parts are finally gathered together and assembly is about to start it rains on my parade. Camilla was supposed to be garaged but the guy before me still has his car there. I guess that should have given me an idea of how long the process might take. If I wanted fast I shoulda went to a regular shop though right? Either way its moving along as quick as the weather permits so now Im looking at early next week if the weather does what its suppossed to. Im just glad that one of my first repairs was weather stripping. All I can do now is pace the floor drive my girl CRAZY and wait..... damn I hope the rain stops .

The trunk is done and looks great, I didnt realize what a difference fresh zolatone (stock splatter paint) made. Everything is bolted in and wires and hoses are being ran. A new situation has come up and its something I should have done before hand. I need to rebuild the front end... I think its been the same bushings and stuff since 1964.

Just found out that Ted is going to come out in Garage Magazine and so is my trunk setup. When he asked what club I was from I had Ted show him the placa, "I know these guys" . Not bad for being unfinished, I cant wait until its finally done. Front end is getting rebuilt as I type.... be patient with me Ill let you guys see it soon enough.

Im happy to say that the car is home and Im almost done. Now... on with the show!

    Hard at work.

Passenger side is all mocked up and ready for tear down/final install.

Trunk has been painted and setup installed.

Other side playing with light on my phone.

Finally a real camera! Im just going to let the pics talk for themselve on the rest of the pics.

    I love the final results

I stopped off at sickapaches house to tinker with the setup a bit and he took this pick of it locked up.

We need a lil some thinghere and there before I can take it to a show so it now sits in my garage... its good to have her home.

If that late model wasn't in the background of the last pic, it could be a convincing "back in the day" shot! Mad cool.

I think Bette Midler said it best when she said:

Did you ever know that youre my hero,
And everything I would like to be?
I can fly higher than an eagle,
For you are the wind beneath my wings.
